Star Wars' Ashley Eckstein talks about the power of the fan community
How Star Wars fans support Ashley Eckstein and how she supports themOne of the most popular faces in the Star Wars pantheon of personalities these days is Ahsoka Tano, and the voice behind her has been actor Ashley Eckstein. First introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie (and animated series), even though that series has ended, she (both the character and the actor) have become far more popular than anyone would've ever thought. And that carried over into the recent Star Wars Celebration at Anaheim, California.
And for Eckstein, it was like a homecoming.
"The sense of community here is unrivaled," Eckstein tells Popverse's Ashley V. Robinson. "I mean, it’s so supportive. The second you walk in through the doors you feel like you’re at home. We’re at home. We’re with family and it’s just so nice to be home again."
(If you get 'Han Solo returning to the Millenium Falcon in Star Wars: The Force Awakens' out of that, you're not the only one.)
