Ilan Preskovsky is a freelance writer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has worked as an entertainment journalist, critic, and features writer since 2010, including hundreds of film and TV reviews for South Africa’s biggest online news site, News24. A fan of older music, comedy, retro video games, Coen Brothers films, and all things on the slightly nerdy side of pop culture, he has had a particular passion for the comic book medium ever since coming across a random issue of Mark Waid’s classic run on the Flash (issue #66, to be precise) when he was 11 years old.
