Remembering the greatness of Batman Beyond on its 25th anniversary, with the cast themselves

Watch the highlights of the Batman Beyond panel from New York Comic Con 2019

It seems like just yesterday I was coming home from school, turned on Toonami, and watched Terry McGinnis (who I thought was the absolute coolest) being a total baddie in a Batman suit. And yet, here we are, 25 years later, and the show's praise and impact remains as strong as ever. Originally debuting on January 10, 1999 on Kids' WB, Batman Beyond continued the legacy of the iconic character, and was a superb sequel to another highly celebrated show, Batman: The Animated Series. The series went on to win two Daytime Emmys before ending in 2001.

Here at Popverse, we’re celebrating the anniversary by sharing the full panel from a 2019 New York Comic Con panel for Batman Beyond, featuring Alan Burnett (series creator), Will Friedle (Terry McGinnis), the late Kevin Conroy (Bruce Wayne), Lauren Tom (Dana Tan), Andrea Romano (voice director) and James Tucker (director). Watch the cast and crew discuss the creation of the show, tell their inspiring, and often times hilarious, casting and coaching stories, share their favorite episodes, and was there something going on between Terry and Ten? We finally have an answer!

Watch the video below — and feel free to share your favorite Batman Beyond episodes, quotes, and/or moments! We want to hear all of them.
