DC's future won't just be Absolute—and this panel will prove it.
When the best creators get a hold of their favorite characters, chances are some magic will happen. With DC's 'Next Level' initiative, the publisher is clearing the way for both top creators and those up-and-coming to do that squarely in its main universe, the same way others have done with the Absolute DC line. And at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2026, DC is unveiling the next level to 'Next Level.'
Popverse will be reporting live from the panel room as senior editors Brittany Holzherr and Andrew Marino lead a cast of creators including the Legion of Superheroes team (Joshua Williamson and Hayden Sherman), Teen Titans (Kyle Higgins), Gerry Duggan (Next Level: One Shot) and those with teased projects including Michael Walsh to talk about what's underway, what's to come, and what was until this panel under-wraps.
