Second new DC Vertigo series sells out as well, as End of Life debut projects big life for DC's mature line revival

End of Life is, ironically, just the beginning of what looks to be a big event from Vertigo, writer Kyle Starks, and artist Steve Pugh

Vertigo is back, baby.

And we're not just talking about the fact that DC Comics is officially publishing books again under the vertigo line, which became synonymous with ground-breaking, mature comics like Hellblazer. We're talking about the fact that those new comics are making volcanic sales numbers, as you might recall from our reporting on Deniz Camp and Stipan Morian's Bleeding Hearts #1 being rushed to a second printing. Now, it looks like the Vertigo gang is going to have to do the exact same thing with another sequential sensation.

Specifically, that would be End of Life #1, a comic by the Peacemaker Tries Hard! team of Kyle Starks and Steve Pugh. End of Life teels the story of hit-man Eddie Stallion, an immature assassin who must escape a maelstrom of murderers after robbing The Menagerie, a top-secret cabal of killers. The first issue of the comic was published February 18, and clearly, folks were intrigued.

According to a press release sent out by DC on February 25, the comic's second printing will feature the Gerard Parel cover from the first printing, but with a recolored logo, and an inks-only cover of the Rafa Sandoval’s variant cover. We've displayed both those covers, respectively, in this piece for your enojyment.

Vertigo's End of Life #1 is on sale now, with the second printing arriving in stores April 15. End of Life #2 goes on sale March 18.
