Silent Hill f is getting a new ending written by Ryukishi07 in the recently serialized manga adaptation

Konami has already given us 5 endings to Silent Hill f, so what would one more hurt?

Endings in some games are like Hobbit meals. Sure, we’ve had one end, but what about a second ending? Or, dare I say, a True Ending for fans who fulfil certain criteria? However, Konami isn’t content with giving Silent Hill f fans multiple endings in the game; they’re letting Ryukishi07, the original writer of the Silent Hill f scenario, write a whole new ending to the game in its new manga adaptation.

Launched on April 22 on the Comic Walker website, the first chapter of Silent Hill f is available to anyone who can read Japanese. Currently, there is no English release schedule announced for the manga adaptation. However, the description on the website offers one important titbit for fans to get excited about. “The highly popular psychological horror series, the long-awaited latest instalment set in Japan, is now a comic adaptation with a “new ending” drawn by Ryukishi07.”

With only one chapter out, we don’t know what that new ending will be. The original Silent Hill f game had five endings, including the traditional UFO abduction ending that many Silent Hill games have as a running gag in the series. Thus far, the Silent Hill f manga covers the introduction of the game in the moments before Ebisugaoka is engulfed in the series’ trademark fog and horror. There is still plenty of story to get through before we reach the new ending that has been promised.

There is no confirmed release date for the next chapter of the Silent Hill f manga, but we’re hoping it has a regular, perhaps weekly, release schedule.
