Things are heating up this year in Al Ewing and Carlos Gómez's current run on Venom. But as the Queen in Black event begins this summer, there's a family reunion of sorts in store in the pages of Marvel Comics - and we have a first look at it, fire and all.

"Months ago, Dylan Brock was killed by Carnage – and granted an audience with the Eventuality, the ultimate iteration of his father," reads Marvel's description of Venom #260. "He asked five questions and he was given five answers – hints at a dark future waiting for him. Now that future is here..."

As you can see from the cover, Venom #260 takes place squarely within the Queen in Black crossover this summer. And Al Ewing isn't done with Queen in Black. Also kicking off this summer from Ewing is Queen in Black: Hela #1 and Queen in Black: Thor #1.

"All the secrets of the Queen in Black – revealed in Queen in Black: Hela!" reads the description for that one-shot. "Why were Hela and Tyr in Midgard when the Rainbow Bridge fell? How did she cage Knull, God of the Void? And which Thor tried to stop her? Balder the Brave seeks the answers from Karnilla of the Norns... but will he live to tell anyone else?"

Over in Queen in Black: Thor, Beta Ray Bill will be battling Hela as he comes to grip with his role as heir to Thor.

Venom #260 and Queen in Black: Hela #1 go on sale July 8 at your local comic shop and online, but Venom #1 through #256 is already available now. Queen in Black: Thor #1 arrives August 5.
