A tribute to the life and work of JOHN PAUL LEON "the artist's artist". since 1991 JOHN PAUL LEON has dedicated his career to the craft of sequential illustration and American superhero comic books and has earned the love and respect of all of his professional peers. he passed away this May 2nd after a 14-year battle with cancer leaving behind a legacy as perhaps one of the more talented modern day artists in the industry. Lets explore some of his works from his initial try-out portfolio to his early debut as artist on STATIC EARTH X thru his artistic process on his critically-acclaimed creator-owned series THE WINTER MEN and his final days on BATMAN CREATURE OF THE NIGHT JUPITERS LEGACY REQUIUM and BATMAN/CATWOMAN.
