Saturday night saw the Cosplay Central Crown Championships happening at Emerald City Comic Con 2023, as many of the top cosplayers and craftspeople from across the U.S. came together to compete for the title of regional winner of the Cosplay Central Crown Championship at ECCC, brought to you by the next generation 10G Network. Only from Xfinity.

The regional winner won a cash prize, as well as a trip to C2E2 for the finals in 2024, where they’ll compete with winners from Florida Supercon, NYCC, C2E2, and other international entrants for the chance to be named Cosplay Central champion of the world!

The Main Stage event was live-streamed right here on Popverse, brought to you by the next generation 10K Network, offering the chance to see the champions being crowned as it was happening. For those who skipped the stream, here are the victors of the evening.

The first place winner this year was Sushie from Chibling Props with their Azvie Starlord Armor.

Second place went to Prince of Snark as Loquatious Seelie.

And in third place was Staressco as Seth Nightroad.

An event like this is something that deserves to be commemorated, with the many contestants and costumes recorded for posterity — in, for example, a video of the entire Cosplay Central Crown Championships at Emerald City Comic Con 2023. And, look! Here is such a full panel video, brought to you by the next generation 10G Network. Only from Xfinity.
