Bells Hells isn't over yet. And at the same time, maybe it hasn't yet begun? Today, Random House imprint Random House Worlds announced that they will publish Critical Role: Bells Hells - What Doesn't Break, a Bells Hells prequel novel written by author Cassandra Khaw.

Bells Hells - What Doesn't Break will serve as a prequel novel for Critical Role's current campaign, and it will follow Laudna as she meets the crew of Bells Hells. From the blurb that Random House World has provided, it looks like the novel will focus on the conflict between the voice in her ear that has guided her for her whole life and her inner instinct to reach out for "more- of life, of love, of the magic stirring in her still veins." Of course, we know what comes to happen to Laudna, but this book will be about how it happens.

Critical Role: Bells Hells - What Doesn't Break will hit shelves on July 23, 2024 and is currently available for preorder at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
