It's been a wild year when it comes to changes in the DC Multiverse, and we may just be getting started. Hopefully, we'll get to hear a bit more about what's coming next at DC's Elsewhere in the DC Multiverse taking place at New York Comic Con 2023 on Thursday October 12, 2023 from 12:15 PM - 1:15 PM Eastern.
Now we don't have too much information from DC Comics about exactly what the panel will cover, as the official panel description is only a sentence long (read: Hear directly from some of the superstar writers and artists that are creating epic new storylines that push DC’s Super Heroes and Super-Villains beyond their limits in bold new adventures), but we're looking forward to any announcements on what we can expect next in the DC Multiverse.
Now if you can't make it to the Javits Center or, more specifically, room 409 at the designated time, you needn't worry. Popverse will be liveblogging the panel and any exciting announcements for you! Just read along below.

Abernathy did not reveal more details about the sequel but Taylor is excited to get to go back to that world.
The final reveal is a sequel to Dark Knights of Steel by Tom Taylor.
Taylor and Abernathy both have high praise for Jay Kristoff's work on Dark Knights of Steel: Allwinter.
Abernathy credits Taylor's work with being a sort of soft relaunch of this new Elseworlds imprint.
Abernathy asks Tom Taylor what he thought when he was pitched DCEASED. Initially, Taylor wasn't into it but he slowly started coming up with tons of ideas for it.
Rosenberg explains that Jaina has become a warrior priestess and she keeps her brother's thumb on a necklace so she can access her Wonder Twin powers.
Abernathy asks how Rosenberg likes working with Otto Schmidt. He says that he loves working with him and the balance that he provides between action scenes and more intimate character moments.
Rosenberg says that some of the characters who fell in the first DC vs Vampires like Batman and Green Lantern will be returning somehow.
Barbara Gordon is the new Queen of the Vampires. The vampires try to block out the sun and the world is now freezing over.
The last book to be announced is DC vs. Vampires: World War V by Matthew Rosenberg and Otto Schmidt.
"I just want to draw cool stuff and do a cool story and work with my brother." - Clay Mann
Abernathy asks what the brothers wanted to tell with this story specifically.
"It's not hyperbole to say that this is a Batman that you've never seen before." - Seth Mann
Abernathy asks the brothers if they felt any pressure to deliver a great Batman story.
Next up is Batman: Nightfire by Clay and Seth Mann.
The new Green Lantern does not have a ring but rather carries a lantern with her. Dell’Edera was convinced to do the book after speaking with Brombal over dinner about the idea.
The book will feature a new character and be set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland that has been overrun by monsters.

"It's basically a horror manga under Werther's pen." - Brombal
Next up is Green Lantern: Dark by Tate Brombal and Werther Dell’Edera which is a dark fantasy take on the Green Lantern.
"The work I've seen so far is mindblowing... this series is beyond what you can imagine." - Abernathy
Greg Smallwood is not here but Abernathy has announced Batman the Barbarian by The Human Target’s artist.
"The thing about Tirso... he just gets fantasy...he's just perfect for this book." - Tom Taylor
This is artist Tirso Cons' DC debut. It is set in the world of Dark Knights of Steel and features a norse mythology take on Deathstroke.
The next book Abernathy is moving on to is Dark Knights of Steel: Allwinter by Jay Kristoff and Tirso Cons.
Readers will see the creation of the Justice League in the early 19th century in this book.
Abernathy says that we will see the larger DCU in the Gotham by Gaslight universe - it will not be confined to Gotham.
Leandro Fernandez says he was extremely excited to sign on to the project. "I put a lot of attention into not only the characters but the settings... It is a really new world to explore." - Fernandez
The first book they are announcing is Gotham by Gaslight: The Kryptonian Age by Andy Diggle and Leandro Fernandez.
Tate Brombal says that Kingdom Come was his first DC comic ever and it made him a DC fan for life.
Tom Taylor says that he basically loves all of it and its had a big influence on him.
Seth Mann says that his favorite was "Justice League: The Nail"
But he says Red Son is probably his favorite.
Abernathy asks the panel if they were fans of Elseworlds when they were growing up. Rosenberg says that Gotham by Gaslight was a huge one for him.
Joining the panel are many of the creators who will be involved with Elseworlds including Clay and Seth Mann, Tom Taylor, Matthew Rosenberg and Tate Brombal.
Abernathy says that he always gravitated toward Elseworlds stories when he was a fan. He is proud to announce the return of the Elseworlds imprint.
Buccellato says that in one of the later issues five Green Lanterns will team up to create a "contruct Voltron" to fight the monsters and Batman will pilot a BatMech.
Fans are now doing their best roars into the microphone in the hall so they can be given signed copies of the first issue of Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong.
Abernathy explains that they are doing "sound covers" for the book that feature Godzilla and Kong's roars when you open them.
Abernathy asks Buccellato what it's like working with artist Christian Duce. "What he brings to the table is scope...he does an amazing job with that but on top of that he can do the smaller moments with characters." - Buccellato
A second trailer for the book is now playing featuring Godzilla's nuclear breath going head to head with Superman's heat vision.
Buccellato explains that the concept is pretty straightforward - the monsters from the Legendary Universe have been transported to Prime Earth and a lot of fighting ensues.
