Marvel Studios' marquee 2024 movie is Deadpool & Wolverine, and as the days count down until the wall between the MCU and the X-Men universe (as well as the Fourth Wall entirely) is firmly breached, Marvel Comics is getting ready for an influx of interest into their comic book characters once again.

Marvel Comics has released to comic book store owners its comics recommendations for those interested in this third Deadpool movie and fourth Wolverine movie - and the list is a bit surprising.

Although Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy says this isn't 'Deadpool 3' or 'Wolverine 4' but truly its own thing, Marvel Comics' comic recommendations for Deadpool & Wolverine say otherwise - pointing almost exclusively at Deadpool solo comics, or ones that co-star Wolverine - but no solo Wolverine comic recommendations.

Here are Marvel Comics' recommendations for comics for those of you who are interested in Deadpool & Wolverine:

"... each one an ideal entry point to the character's mythos and a perfect companion for those who love or are looking forward to the new film!" reads Marvel's information to comic book store owners.

In addition to this list of Deadpool & Wolverine comic recommendations, Marvel is circulating graphics for bookmarks, shelf talkers, and Facebook banners for retailers can use. It's not quite the amazing standees DC does for its movies, but it's something.
