Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have filmed a R-rated 'turn off your phones' movie theaters video, in character

Please do not SNIKT! in the movie theater, either.

Ryan Reynolds is no stranger to going full meta as Deadpool in the first two Deadpool movies (and related short appearances to promote them) - and now he's enlisted Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman to help him create a video for movie theaters owners.

A video with Reynolds and Jackman in full character and costume debuted at CinemaCon 2024, the closed-door mega-convention for movie theater owners that's been running all week in Las Vegas. According to Popverse's Tiffany Babb, who's present in the room, the video request to put phones away before the main presentation is filled with profanity - although bleeped out despite the audience being generally adults only.

While it wasn't immediately clear if this short will air when Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters July 26...

...really, why wouldn't it? It was described in the room as a 'CinemaCon exclusive', but in the world of movies 'exclusive' usually means 'first', and rarely 'forever.'

As we prepare for Deadpool and Wolverine to join the MCU, here's how to watch all of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine appearances in order.
