Calling all Critical Role fans!

If you've been keeping up with the the Exandria gang (and let's face it, you have), you know that the Matthew  Mercer co-designed Daggerheart TTRPG is coming to a game shop near you very, very soon. And you also probably know that on May 29, the OG Critical Role cast (that is: Ashley Johnson, Laura Bailey, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, Taliesin Jaffe, and Travis Willingham) are joining Matt in an actual play of the brand new Daggerheart campaign, Age of Umbra.

But what we bet you didn't know is that, one week before the crew starts their adventure, you can gte your first peek into Daggerheart actual play, as the adventurers are putting on a special "Session Zero" on May 22.

As any TTRPG player might expect, the zero session will see the Critical Role cast building the new characters they'll be embodying in the upcoming months, using the new character mechanics presented by Daggerheart. While there will be no actual play this session, there's sure to be some great backstory to all these new characters, as well as some practicable tips for your own Daggerheart adventures.

You can watch Session Zero (and of course, the Sessions 1-8 that will follow it) on Critical Role's official Beacon, Twitch, and YouTube channels. And remember to mark your calendars for when Daggerheart comes to stores May 20.
