I, for one, think we fight dragons a little too much. If you ask me, we really should be befriending them more often, and that's exactly what you get to do in the Flamecraft series from Cardboard Alchemy. Kind of a mix of Pokémon and How to Train Your Dragon (but even cuter), Flamecraft is all about teaching your fiery friends skills to improve the village you call home, and at PAX Unplugged 2025, Popverse got to hear all about their latest chapter.

Flamecraft: Duals is a two-player competitive pattern-matching game and expansion on Flamecraft's debut: Dragons & Dragons. Cradboard Alchemy's Rozie Pocket and Peter Vaughan were kind enough to take us on a playthough of the game (and of course, a showcase of the so-cute-it-hurts artwork), and you can see what they showed us right here:
