Among Us meets The Traitors in Square Enix's new murder mystery game Killer Inn
We love the social deduction aspects of Among Us, but we can't wait for every argument to descend into a shoot out when we finally play Killer Inn.

Ever since Among Us became the biggest game of the pandemic, everyone has been scrambling to find the next murder mystery video game. Square Enix is the latest to try it, announcing Killer Inn as a Murder Mystery action game out sometime in the future. By mashing the asymmetrical “hide in plain sight” gameplay of Among Us with the social deduction of TV shows like The Traitors, this might be one of the most interesting entries in this heavily populated genre.
Killer Inn pits players against each other in a stately manor and divides them into two teams. Wolves need to kill all the Lambs and Lambs need to survive and kill all the Wolves. Each time a Wolf kills someone, it leaves some sort of forensic evidence behind, allowing Lambs to make deductions beyond just “I saw them do it.” It is a fun twist on the gameplay we’ve seen before in games like Among Us.
The twist is that no one is going to vote anyone out like in The Traitors. Instead, if you find a Wolf, you kill them using an array of weapons you find scattered around the mansion. Kind of like if the Emergency Meeting in Among Us turned into a shoot-out instead of just us shouting at people that we totally saw Red acting sus in the reactor room.
There is no release date for Killer Inn yet, but an open beta is in the works and should be coming soon according to the announcement trailer.
