Let's Play: Roll For It! Going BIG! - The upsized dice-roller from Calliope Games

Try your luck with the jumbo-sized version of Roll For It, and join Popverse as we explore Tsuro, Martian Dice, and more from the folks at Calliope Games!

Ever since 2009, Calliope Games has been producing family-friendly, colorful tabletop games that are as fun to play as they are easy to learn. Take, for example, the simple Roll For It!  - the game that presents players with dice patterns printed on cards and rewards them for rolling their own dice to match. At PAX Unplugged 2025, I got the chance to sit down and play a round of Roll For It! myself (the jumbo-sized Going BIG! version, to be precise), and as you can see below, I had a fantastic time.

But that wasn't all that Calliope's art director, Nicki Whers, was willing to share with yours truly. I also got the TL;DR on some of the company's other best sellers - the sci-fi-themed Martian Dice and the simply gorgeous Tsuro. And as I said, these games take about as long to learn as they do to explain in the video below - so if for nothing more than educational purposes, check out our time with Calliope now.

Want more? You can pick up your own copies of Roll For It! Going BIG!, Tsuro, and Martian Dice anywhere you by games.
