The band is back together, and doing it in style, in the first trailer for Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 revealed today at Brazil Comic Con.

This first Guardians trailer leans heavily into the aesthetic that made the first Guardians of the Galaxy so memorable, with lots of exciting new settings and even some colorful spacesuits for our beloved team of misfits. The trailer is packed to the brim with sneak peeks and dramatic moments, but it does have a fairly somber and serious undercurrent and hints at a central throughline of Rocket's tragic past and what it means for him (and the team) to face it. We also get to see a few moments featuring the current timeline's living Gamora, who never joined the Guardians and still may have a bit of a murderous personality.

Beyond that central Guardians drama, we get a glimpse of the Guardians' upcoming antagonists with Will Poulter as Adam Warlock and Chukwudi Iwuji as High Evolutionary. And comics fans will be excited to see that the Guardians are wearing their team costumes at last (and that they're heavily derived from the comics).
