The Hunger Games: Every district of Panem explained

Explore Panem ahaed of The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes

The fifth and newest movie in The Hunger Games franchise is coming out, and it's based on the popular fourth book in The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes tells the prequel story of President Snow - known them simply as Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) - during his time as a mentor of the 10th Hunger Games and his relationship with the tribute he is assigned, Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler).

The country of Panem is the setting for all Hunger Games stories. Fortunately for us, Popverse’s Ashley V. Robinson is a Hunger Games super fan and prepared a video straight from District 4 to bring you into the know on the Districts of Panem and exactly where The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes takes place!

Join her in The Capitol and journey all the way out to District 13! There's a Thirteenth District? Yes, there is! Well, "was." In this video explainer, Ashley gets into the geography of Panem so you know exactly where yourself and your favorite characters from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes call home.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes also stars: Hunter Schafer (Euphoria), Jason Schwartzman (Scott Pilgrim Takes Off), Academy Award winner Viola Davis, Emmy Award winner Peter Dinklage, and more.
