Harrison Ford made a surprise appearance at Star Wars Celebration 2022, to wish composer John Williams a happy 90th birthday ... and also to talk about the next Indiana Jones film.

Ford, along with Indiana Jones director James Mangold, joined Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy on-stage to show off the first image for the as-yet-untitled fifth film, and also to share the release date: June 30, 2023.

This new Indiana Jones film stars Harrison Ford (who else?), along with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Boyd, Holbrooke, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, and Toby Jones.

This will be Lucasfilm's first non-Star Wars project since its acquisition by the Walt Disney Company.
