Is it time for John Wick to die? Everyone in the new John Wick: Chapter Four trailer seems to think so. That is, except for John Wick himself.

The trailer for John Wick: Chapter Four just dropped, and it looks like John Wick is gearing up against his most dangerous foe yet. Chapter Four, which is set to release in just a few months on March 24, adds Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Clancy Brown, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Scott Adkins (though we don't see him in the trailer) to the already pretty snazzy franchise cast led by Keanu Reeves and featuring Ian McShane and Laurence Fishburne.

As for the trailer itself, we get some snippets of dramatic dialogue about life and death intercut between sweeping scenery, views of well dressed people sitting at polished tables, and some pretty snazzy looking action scenes. We also get our first sneak peek at a pretty epic looking sword-and-gun fight between Donnie Yen's character and John Wick as well as some menacing threats from the new big bad Bill Skarsgård.

So far, all pretty standard for a John Wick movie, and yet the tone of the trailer seems to be hinting that this may be the end of an era. Whether that's the era of John Wick in general, or simply the rebirth of a new style of John Wick movie is left unresolved. Looks like we'll just have to wait until March to see.

John Wick: Chapter Four will premiere March 24, 2023. Buy your tickets for John Wick: Chapter Four at Fandango or Atom Tickets.
