Eat the Rich comics writer Sarah Gailey is taking their irreverent take on the upper class into space with the new comic book limited series Know Your Station. Scheduled to be published by BOOM! Studios beginning this December, Know Your Station pairs Gailey with Liana Kangas (TRVE KVLT) for a horror/murder mystery thriller in space.

"I could not be more excited to explore new frontiers of wealth and violence in Know Your Station, a series in which space is no longer the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism," Gailey says in the announcement. "Working with Liana Kangas to develop this series has been a source of incredible creative joy, and there couldn't be a better home for this story than BOOM! I am just thrilled to get to work with Liana to shine a light on the gory inner workings of the 1%."

Know Your Station is a play on the phrase 'know your station,' mashing up a story about class barriers with a murder mystery on a literal space station. In this case, the space station is the ultimate gated community - where the wealthy retreat while the rest of the world suffers and dies due to the terminal effects of climate change. But when a serial killer starts targeting the ultra-rich, one of the station's humble workers, Elise, finds herself wrapped into this rich person problem.

Here's a preview of Kangas' main cover, along with variants by Becca Carey and Jenn Woodall:

"Getting to work with a phenomenal editorial team and favorite prose writer of mine, Sarah Gailey, is quite the foundation for my excitement to construct and create with them on this epically gruesome series," says Kangas. "There’s something to be said about watching someone mysteriously murdering billionaires AND stick it to the man—but IN SPACE? Sign me up."

Know Your Station #1 is scheduled to debut this December.
