NYCC 2021 | Comics vs. Illustrated Books: The Ultimate Showdown!

Get ready to rumble! Join us for a lively debate about what makes a comic a comic. What differentiates a comic from a graphic novel from an illustrated book? Who gets to decide? We’ll try to solve this debate once and for all (or at least go out swinging!). This panel will help librarians and educators gain a better understanding of how to use comics in programming and come away with useful tips for collection development. A reading list will be provided.
