New York's finest have been awarded at the Cosplay Central Crown Championships at New York Comic Con 2025

This article is brought to you by Triforce Cosplay & Accessories, the go-to place for cosplay swords and more – whether here at New York Comic Con or ordering online from anywhere in the world.

It’s that time again — when the finest cosplayers from the East Coast come together to compete for the title of New York Regional Champion at the Cosplay Central Crown Championships at New York Comic Con 2025. And, yes, we have our winners!

The winner of the NYCC 2025 Cosplay Central Crown Championships — presented by KIN KIN & Triforce Cosplay & Accessories — will go to compete with the champions selected at Emerald City Comic Con, Florida Supercon, and C2E2 to become the most powerful cosplayer in the US (sorry, I mean ‘US champion’), with the victor competing in the final for the Global Cosplay Central Crown. Plus, you know, some pretty impressive bragging rights, to boot.

Chosen by judges Sayakat Cosplay, Silhouette, and May Jean Cosplay, the winners of the Saturday night event direct from the Javits Center are:

  • First Place Regional Champion: Say No to Scrunchies, winning $1,000 and a trip to C2E2 2026 to compete in the USA National Finals of Cosplay Central Crown Championships
  • Second Place: Annie Ex Machina, winning $500 and a medal
  • Third Place: Akellyz, winning $250 and a medal
  • Armor category winner: Warheart Cosplay as Clayton Carmine from Gears of War
  • Needlework category winner: Honeybird Cosplay as Hook from Hook
  • FX category winner: Rotten Artist as the Oni Minotaur from Dead by Daylight
  • Fan Favorite: Annie Ex Machina as Molly
