Watch the Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama Tribute Panel from MCM London, right here on Popverse

"What Dragonball Means to Me" brought together fans from across the UK to pay tribute to one of anime's most influencial voices

Popverse's top stories of the day

This year, anime lost one of its most important figures. And at MCM May 2024, YouTubers Anime Freshmen gathered the anime community to pay tribute to Dragon Ball Z creator Akira Toriyama, celebrating his life and getting personal about how his art changed theirs.

Popverse was at this tribute, and we're making what we filmed available to all the anime fans on our site, free of charge. Watch it below.

Of course, this is but one of dozens of panels Popverse is filming at MCM May 2024 - and best of all, you're going to be able to watch all of them for free. Throughout the summer, Popverse will be debuting full panel videos on demand to watch- whether it be to see something you missed, or to re-live your favorite moments.

Come back on Friday, June 28 at 3PM BST (10am EDT) to watch the full What Dragonball Means to Me: an Akira Toriyama Tribute Panel with Anime Freshmen free, thanks to MCM and Popverse.
