Watch Patton Oswalt's new Effervescent comedy special from this year's C2E2

To be fair, we couldn't catch the smell, but we did record all of Patton Oswalt's Effervescent stand-up show at Chicago's premiere pop culture event

Round these parts, we know Patton Oswalt as an all-around nerd and comic book author, but we also know that he's had loyal fans of his comedy for going on two decades now. At C2E2 '25, however, those two sides of the entertainer combined, as the comedian brought his newest act, entitled Effervescent, to Chicago's premiere pop culture event.

Popverse was at this reservation-only event, and lucky for fans of Oswalt's comedy, we happened to bring a camera along. If you couldn't make it to C2E2 this year or if you could and you just want to rewatch this funnyman debuting never-before-seen material, all you have to do is scroll down, where the Patton Oswalt: Effervescent panel, filmed on C2E2's 2025 Main Stage guaranteed by CGC x JSA - our official authenticator & grading partner - is playing right now.
