Why did we keep seeing Guardians from Destiny at PAX West 2025?!

Yes, we kept seeing Guardians from Destiny at PAX West 2025, but there was a good reason (and we weren't imagining them)

Sure, we all know that Guardians are able to Transmat in the game Destiny, but it’s not as if they can do that in real life… or can they? At PAX West 2025, everything was possible — or so it seemed to video producer Martin Vavra, who kept seeing some familiar figures at the four-day show in the Seattle Convention Center.

The Destiny Community Meetup in question was — as can be briefly glimpsed on the sign in the video itself — just one of the many community meetups that take place at PAX West (or, for that matter, any of the PAXes throughout the year). Of course, not every meetup features vanishing Guardians, but you can’t have everything.

Thanks to Lily Bean Cosplay and Air Bubbles Cosplay for taking part in this video.
