Life is Strange Avengers? The voice cast of the long-running Square Enix episodic series is ready to have their team-up moment
What if the characters from the multiple different Life is Strange installments got to meet? The actors behind the game are ready to make that happen

Square Enix’s episodic adventure game series Life is Strange has been running since 2015, through multiple incarnations — including 2017’s Life is Strange: Before the Storm, 2021’s Life is Strange: True Colors, and 2024’s Life is Strange: Double Exposure — each with its own cast, setting, and superpowered protagonist. But… what if the series was less of an anthology of unconnected stories, and more something that really leaned into its shared universe setting like the MCU?
“I always want to have a Life is Strange Avengers game!” declared Katy Bentz, who voiced Steph Gingrich in both Before the Storm and True Colors, during PAX West 2025’s Rewinding Time: A Decade of Life is Strange panel. “Let’s get us all in there, get everybody powers, and let’s make it a Battle Royale or something! Let’s just have fun with it!”
“Alex isn’t mine,” added Emily Mori, who played Alex Chen in True Colors, “but I do feel very protective of her and her story, and so I think I would want to read the script, or at least the narrative arc… Bringing a heavier crossover, I think that would be cool if it was done well. It does get really interesting and complex when you think about the different powers that people have, and who would suss out who.”
Even Han Soto, whose Gabe Chen technically got crushed by a boulder in True Colors is up for the idea. “I still don’t think I died,” he joked. “Do you ever see Gabe dead?”
Hey, Square Enix: I think the voice cast for the game have just come up with the plot for the next installment. After all, who doesn’t enjoy a good team-up story, especially when it’s never been done before?
