It sounds like Daredevil: Born Again is shaping up to be an epic show. The Marvel Studios series will serve as a sequel to the popular Netflix series, which was known for its memorable action sequences. According to some recent comments from Charlie Cox, it sounds like this new series is going to up the ante.
Speaking to a crowd at Indiana Comic Convention 2024, Cox teased a scene that he had recently filmed. “I’ve been doing this now for 20 something years, and I still get goosebumps sometimes when I’m on set doing a particular thing. I’m filming something at the moment. We were on set the other day, and it’s a really cool sequence that we’ve been filming. It takes a whole week to shoot,” Cox said.
“I’ve been walking to work thinking ‘This is so cool.’ It is really the stuff of dreams. I’m so grateful I’m still managing to play this character. My knees hurt a lot more and my back isn’t having fun, but it’s worth it.”
Calling a scene “the stuff of dreams” is high praise, so I can’t wait to see what Marvel Studios has in store for us. Reading between the lines, it seems like it could be an epic action sequence. Perhaps another single-shot fight, just like the famous hallway scene from the Netflix series?
Daredevil: Born Again premieres March 2025 on Disney+.
