Marvel Studios aims to outdo Dune 2's Sandworm popcorn bucket with Deadpool 3

MCU boss Kevin Feige says there's been "lewd and crude" popcorn buckets, but wait until you see Deadpool's

Dune: Part Two raised the game for novelty movie theater popcorn buckets, as everyone familiar with the sandworms is all too aware... and now Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige has taken Dune's offering as the gauntlet being thrown down, and asked Deadpool to design one himself.

At CinemaCon 2024 Thursday, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced that "We have asked Deadpool himself to design a popcorn bucket for Deadpool & Wolverine," adding, "There are some movies that inadvertently make crude and lewd popcorn buckets, and then there are popcorn buckets designed by Deadpool."

It's unclear if Feige is meaning Ryan Reynolds himself will be designing the bucket, or rather Deadpool co-creators Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, or if its instead a popcorn bucket designed as if Deadpool were the one doing it.

The Deadpool franchise has done popcorn buckets before, such as the Deadpool 2 popcorn bucket featuring a riff on Michaelangelo's God & Adam with Deadpool & Cable. How can you top Michaelangelo? Let's see what Deadpool does for the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket.

Deadpool & Wolverine opens in theaters July 26, 2024.
