The Sentry actor Lewis Pullman is looking forward to reuniting with his Top Gun 2 buddy Danny Ramirez in Avengers: Doomsday

After Thunderbolts*, Lewis Pullman is hoping that The Sentry will interact with the MCU's new Falcon, played by Danny Ramirez, in Avengers: Doomsday

In case you missed it, Top Gun: Maverick has an incredibly stacked cast. You've got Tom Cruise, Glen Powell, Miles Teller, Charles Parnell, Ed Harris, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly, Manny Jacinto - and Lewis Pullman and Danny Ramirez. Aside from Maverick being the first time that Pullman played an unassuming character named Bob before Thunderbolts* (making it a Bob Ground Zero perhaps), it's where he first collaborated with Ramirez, the MCU's new Falcon. Now, both actors are set to return in next year's Avengers: Doomsday, and they're hoping to have more reunions in the MCU and beyond.

Speaking to Men's Health, Pullman delineated his friendship with Ramirez and his hopes for Bob and Joaquín Torres to team up in Avengers: Doomsday: "We are just really trying to hammer home that we will not let people down if they let me and him interact in future films. We’re really going to milk it for all it’s worth! We’ve been trying to get projects off the ground together since Top Gun, and we’ve got a couple in the oven, but we’re so excited to have one finally happen [Avengers: Doomsday]. And we didn’t even really have to work for it! We have so much fun working together; we both have the same kind of attitude about why we do what we do."

Avengers: Doomsday is going to be a busy picture, but let's hope that the Russo Brothers make time for a little Top Gun reunion. Earlier this year, over the course of five hours, Marvel Studios unveiled a chunk of the Avengers: Doomsday cast, throwing in some surprises like Alan Cumming, James Marsden, and Rebecca Romijn from 20th Century Fox's original X-Men films. So who knows what we're going to see unfold onscreen.

I do, however, believe in the power of Bob, and will hold out hope for a friendship between The Sentry and Falcon.
