DC Studios Dynamic Duo Robin movie teases Fast and Furious-esque car crashes in behind-the-scenes video
Swaybox Studios is looking for animators to work on DC Studios' Dynamic Duo film, and they've unveiled some behind-the-scenes footage we can't look away from

Whenever Jason Todd is in close proximity to a car, problems arise - and this certainly looks to be the case in new behind-the-scenes footage unveiled by Swaybox Studios, the animation and puppetry studio working with Warner Bros. Animation, DC Studios, and Matt Reeves's 6th and Idaho production company on the film Dynamic Duo. The movie will follow Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, who Batman fans know as the first two Robins who worked with the Caped Crusader.
In a call for auditions for Dynamic Duo on their Instagram, Swaybox posted behind-the-scenes footage of an "unreleased Swaybox / 6th and Idaho film" that many have interpreted to be from Dynamic Duo. After all, in one of the behind-the-scenes images in the Instagram reel, graffiti on the set evokes the names of the production companies behind Dynamic Duo: "6ID" (6th and Idaho?) and "WBA" (Warner Bros. Animation?).
Either way, the behind-the-scenes footage from the "unreleased Swaybox / 6th and Idaho film" looks sick as hell: An old school blue sedan (I don't know cars) crashes through a concrete pillar, spreading dust and debris across its hood as it spins towards the camera. Other shots of the car show it driving through a rainy, gritty setting that feels straight out of Gotham City.
While no Robins can be seen in the footage, we're left wondering why the driver of the car would crash their vehicle into a pillar in the first place. If you ask us, we think it's because of the Law of Jason Todd: if you bring your nice car near Jason Todd, it's going to get wrecked - or get its tires stolen at the very least. (That is, after all, how Jason met Batman in one of the character's origin stories.)
It also doesn't hurt that the reel features Beach House's now-classic song, Myth. So if you weren't convinced that the people of Swaybox Studios had great taste before this, now you've got all the evidence you need.
