Emma Corrin has a surprise Deadpool & Wolverine spin-off in mind
With the X-Men coming to the MCU, Emma Corrin wants Cassandra Nova to get at least one more movie.

Say what you want about the MCU, but Marvel Studios hasn’t been shy about killing off their villains. That’s why nobody expects someone like Cassandra Nova to come back after her apparent death in Deadpool & Wolverine (spoilers, we guess?), but the person who played the remarkably scary telepath would absolutely be down to return in a spin-off film opposite Professor X, and now we want to see that too.
In a recent interview, Emma Corrin dropped their desire to return to the Marvel Studios franchise. When asked if they would ever reprise their role as Cassandra Nova from Deadpool & Wolverine, they replied rather enthusiastically. “I absolutely would. 100%. I think her story’s not over. I would like to see a Professor X and Cassandra Nova bonding film – a sibling comedy like ‘Step Brothers.’ Make it happen! Internet, do your thing!”
It is worth mentioning that there are not even any rumors about Cassandra Nova returning in future MCU projects, but it really is a shame. With the X-Men getting pushed into the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday, there is room for a more dangerous foil to Professor X in the movies, which is what Cassandra Nova represents. Not to mention that, despite playing the most frightening character in Deadpool & Wolverine, Emma Corrin managed to be very funny. Scary, but funny. Them getting the chance to do that again in a film about two siblings lost to time and dimensions would be a delight.
So, yes, we’d love to see Cassandra Nova get her own spin-off film after Deadpool & Wolverine too.
