The Lord of the Rings films began with an odd assortment of heroes gathering at the Elvish paradise of Rivendell towards a common goal; and now, five of those heroes (and one villain) are gathering again in the American paradise of Chicago's C2E2 2025 with a common goal to meet fans and reiminsce. On April 11 - 13, six of the castmembers of the Lord of the Rings movies - Elijah Wood (Frodo), Sean Astin (Sam), Dominic Monaghan (Merry), Billy Boyd (Pippin), John Rhys-Davies (Gimli), and Andy Serkis (Gollum) - are reuniting to meet fans all weekend, and during that time, take part in one rare reunion panel.
