Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige knows that Marvel expanded too much after Avengers: Endgame, but he's not apologizing (openly)
In the post-Endgame era, the MCU stretched itself too thin across too many projects, something Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is well aware of

You really can have too much of a good thing, something that Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has acknowledged about the state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the post-Avengers: Endgame years.
Pandemic notwithstanding, the MCU has, by and large, struggled with finding its footing since Engame's release in 2019. Though it's had success with films like 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, 2023's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and 2024's Deadpool and Wolverine, its recent effort to reboot the Avengers with Thunderbolts* (AKA The New Avengers) fell flat, at least in terms of box office. Thunderbolts*' failure to connect with audiences has been attributed by some to be because of how its cast of characters were pulled from across both Marvel Television and Marvel Studios films, leaving the general public overwhelmed with the amount of media they felt they needed to consume before seeing Thunderbolts*.
Variety reports that at a press conference, Feige addressed Marvel Studios' recent decision to cut back on developing so many projects. "We produced 50 hours of stories between 2007 and 2019, [and since then] we’ve had well over 100 hours of stories — in half the time. That’s too much.” Later, Feige said, "For the first time ever, quantity trumped quality... We spent 12 years working on the Infinity Saga saying that’s never going to happen to us. We always had more characters than we could possibly make because we weren’t going to make a movie a month. Suddenly, there’s a mandate to make more. And we go, ‘Well, we do have more.’”
Case in point: where the hell is Moon Knight? Oscar Isaac's character debuted in his Disney+ series in 2022, and hasn't been seen in the MCU since. He was strangely absent from Daredevil: Born Again, which is bewildering for fans of Moon Knight comics because the guy has been a fixture of New York City's street-level vigilante scene for years. Moreover, in the comics, the dude wears a white costume so that he's extra visible to everyone. So where is the MCU hiding him?
