Marvel's Thunderbolts* trailers are full of "little moments that aren't in the movie," says star David Harbour

Everyone wanting some deleted scenes from the next Marvel Studios movie, turns out they're already out there (and you've probably seen some on the big screen)

By this point, fans are used to the concept of deleted scenes from movies — moments that might have been fun or exciting, but ultimately unnecessary in the grand scheme of things when a movie’s runtime and momentum are at stake. Fans are also used to the idea of deleted scenes showing up after the movie has been in theaters for awhile.

Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* is doing things differently, with star David Harbour already talking about how trailers for the movie use footage that isn’t in the final version of the actual film.

“It's been fun to watch the marketing too because there is so much stuff on the cutting room floor that maybe the marketing team just picked up – little moments that aren't in the movie that they are just taking,” Harbour told Digital Spy. “There was so much footage of us just messing around that makes for a really fun trailer beat, but doesn't quite make it for the movie. There was a ton of good stuff.”

Before heading to the theater this weekend, perhaps it’s time to reacquaint yourself with the trailers so far to better see what did, and didn’t, make it into the finished movie.

Thunderbolts* opens in US theaters May 2, with previews May 1.
