The science fiction thriller series Orphan Black debuted in 2013. In the intervening decade, the fandom, known as the 'Clone Club,' has steadily increased in number. Orphan Black stars Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) as multiple Project Leda clones. The series explores philosophical and ethical questions about cloning, identity and the search for individual meaning alongside an action-packed story filled with intrigue.

Orphan Black’s story begins when Sarah Manning, one of clones, witnesses the suicide of her doppelgänger and subsequent assumes her identity. The series also gained critical acclaim and many additional accolades, including a Peabody Award. And Maslany’s performance in particular has been recognized with a slough of awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award, a TCA Award and two Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

Yes, there are Orphan Black comics, published by IDW. Orphan Black co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson created the Orphan Black comic. This series ran for five issues from February 2015 through July 2015. A second volume, Orphan Black: Helsinki, was released in a collected edition in July 2016. These two volumes are notable for introducing and developing Veera Suominen, an additional self-aware clone, in advance of her debut in 2016’s Orphan Black season 4.
