It's official - the people are in love with A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The latest Game of Thrones spinoff, based off of a series of novellas written by George R.R. Martin, is receiving rave reviews - not the least of which have come from own friends, the Popverse gang. Here's the thing, though, if the series is based on the novellas, then it's going to end after three seasons, no matter how beloved it is by HBO viewers.

Unless, of course, someone had an idea for how to continue it.

Appropriately, that someone appears to be Martin himself, and according to an interview he did with The Hollywood Reporter, there's more than just one idea for continuing the adventures of Dunk and Egg beyond the scope of their titular novellas.

"The big issue is that I have only written three novellas," Martin tells THR, "And I have a lot more stories about Dunk and Egg in my fucking head [...] I’ve got to get them down on paper."

Before he does that, though, Martin was curiously generous about sharing details of those ideas with his fans.

"One is set in Winterfell and one set in the Riverlands," he said.

Hear that, HBO? There's a chance you might need to bundle up your crew and send them somewhere cold again. That is, if you're committed to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 4.
