Sorry folks, Noah Hawley isn't involved with an Alien/Predator crossover. He is a big fan of Dan Trachtenberg, though
Alien: Earth showrunner Noah Hawley wants to "get along" with the Predator series, but says he isn't currently involved with a crossover

Let’s be honest - we all know it’s only a matter of time until a xenomorph and a Yautja come to blows in live-action again. Already, we have confirmed that Alien’s Weyland-Yutani plays a role in the upcoming Predator: Badlands, and with something as exciting as that on the horizon, you can’t blame the average Alien/Predator fan for wanting to know more. One of those fans was at San Diego Comic Con 2025, where Alien: Earth showrunner Noah Hawley just happened to be at a Hall H panel answering Alien questions from the crowd.
The question of whether an Alien/Predator project was in the works came after the assembled crowd got a sneak peak at the first episode of FX’s upcoming small-screen entry into the Alien saga. And while that was very cool, showrunner Hawley’s answer to the question was no doubt a bit of a let down for the crowd.
"I don't have any current involvement in that combo package." Hawley told his querant.
Yes, we also raised our eyebrows at the “current involvement,” line, but for once we’re going to take off our tinfoil hats and try to appreciate the answer as it was given. Especially since, like the true professional he is, Hawley used it to launch into praising the current head of the Predator saga.
"But I love seeing that Dan Trachtenberg is continuing the Predator series," the showrunner said. "Prey was incredible, this new movie [Badlands] looks great. My question is - can't we all just get along?"
No we can't, Noah, because aliens fighting are cool. We don’t watch your show and ask why everyone can’t, I don’t know, not go into space.
(Just kidding Noah, we love you.)
Alien: Earth debuts on FX and Hulu August 12. Predator: Badlands comes to theaters November 7.
