Keep an eye (or two) out for "dope monk shit" and some Mighty Nein Easter Eggs in Legend of Vox Machina Season 4

The fourth season of Prime Video's Legend of Vox Machina show is nearly upon us. The season will premiere on June 3, and excitement has exploded for it since Andy Serkis was announced as part of the cast this week. Who will Serkis be playing? We don't know yet. But what we do know is that you should never underestimate a monk or a librarian, or both.

In an interview with the cast of Vox Machina season 4, we asked Marisha Ray what the gang will learn from the Library of Cobalt Soul and whether or not we can expect to see some ties to the Mighty Nein.

"There will most certainly be some Mighty Nein Easter eggs, especially with the Head Curator that you will see. She is from the second campaign. But I think the most important thing is dope monk shit, baby! Monks, they are not to be fucked with! I think this was a good learning lesson that Vox Machina maybe they thought that they were going to go in and just sidestep a bunch of librarians, but these aren't your average, everyday, run-of-the-mill librarians. They are highly trained assassin spy monks," Marisha Ray said.

Honestly, many of Marisha's statements about the librarians of Cobalt Soul also apply to public librarians in the real world - never mess with a librarian. They might just be a highly trained assassin monk.

With two animated series on Prime Video, Campaign 4 in full swing, and so much more Exandrian lore to come, Critical Role is showing no signs of slowing down. That's why the adventuring party at Popverse are here to bring you everything we can from those nerdy-ass voice actors & Bo., including:

...and much, much more. Roll initiative, player. Magic awaits.
