The Hazbin Hotel cast's favorite lines from season 1
The entire Hazbin Hotel series is basically jammed full of great lines, so picking just one must have been a struggle.

Popverse's top stories
- Robert Kirkman had fancast Lee Pace as his Invincible big bad Thragg years before there was even a TV series to actually cast him in
- Here's how to watch all the New York Comic Con 2025 panels
- Watch Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal season 3 panel from NYCC 2025!
The fun bit of Hazbin Hotel is that almost all of the lines are intensely memorable. Even ignoring some of the very creative swearing that happens throughout, everyone is probably going to have their own favorite line from the series. That includes the cast, who shared some of their favorite lines from season one of Hazbin Hotel just before the highly anticipated second season hits Prime Video.
While at MCM London 2025, the cast of Hazbin Hotel were asked what their favorite lines to record from season one were, and each one had a slightly different take on the answer. It should be noted that their answers were restricted to season one because they would not and could not comment on anything from season two and beyond.
“You’re sloppy,” answers Amir Talai, the voice of Alastor in Hazbin Hotel. To the delight of the crowd, he delivered the memorable line in the sinister tone of his character.
“Not off camera, you’re not,” was the choice of Joel Perez, who voices Valentino in the series. This line became something of a meme in the Hazbin Hotel fandom despite being an almost throwaway gag in a scene.
“Why would we have sex?” was the line of choice for Cherri Bomb’s voice actor, Krystian Alabado.
Finally, Vox’s voice actor, Christian Borle, has a similar answer. “This is better than sex!”
So, if any of these were your favorite lines from Hazbin Hotel, you’re not alone. Even the actors themselves enjoyed both delivering them and watching them back.
