You've heard the Hazbin Hotel cast perform on the Prime Video series, of course. You've potentially purchased the vinyal records of their songs - heck, maybe you've even seen them live. But one way you'll likely never see the hellish cast make their heavenly music is in pure jam form - with folks like Erika Henningsen, Alex Brightman, and Amir Talai performing the show's songs just for each other ahead of each season's recording. That honor, it seems, is reserved for the cast alone.
That's what we gathered from the interview the gang did with TV Insider ahead of last year's Hazbin Hotel season 2 premiere. Specifically, series lead Erika Henningsen - who plays hotelier princess Charlie Morningstar - was the one to let us in on the not-quite secret.
"We’ve had the ability to sing songs in front of one another at events with our songwriters," Henningsen revealed of the pre-season prep. "They [the songwriters] sort of crafted mini concerts. But we haven’t had a full, all-out Hellaverse sing-off."
Well if you ever do, Erika, please let us know. Just saying - if we're going to have to wait another year for the next season of the show to stream at our homes, it could be nice to have something to entertain us in the meanwhile. Waiting for more Hazbin Hotel is...
Well, its own kind of Hell.
Hazbin Hotel seaons one and two are streaming on Prime Video now.
