How does Egg from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms like his eggs? Done by grandma, and he shares her technique
Dexter Sol Ansell plays a character called Egg on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, so naturally we wanted to know how he likes his eggs cooked

Here at Popverse, we like to ask the real questions. If you ask an actor about their latest project, you might get a scripted answer workshopped by agents and publicists. But if you ask an actor how they like their eggs, you’ll get to know who they truly are. The answer will give you a glimpse into their true personality.
So, it was only natural that when we sat down with Dexter Sol Ansell, we asked him how he likes his eggs. After all, the young actor is playing a prince named Egg in the upcoming HBO drama A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
“I like my eggs – ooooh, I love eggs – boiled for eight minutes. It has to be eight minutes. Or scrambled, but only by my grandma,” Egg actor Dexter Sol Ansell tells Popverse’s Ashley Victoria Robinson at New York Comic Con 2025.
What about milk?
“A touch [of milk]. I mean, I don’t really know how my grandma does it, but however she does it [gives chef’s kiss].”
Maybe Ansell’s grandmother can do some of the on-set catering. I’m not going to lie, I kind of want to try her eggs.
