Is Heated Rivalry already planning to shoot season 3? A slip-up from Dylan Walsh seems to say 'yes'
It's a big old whoopsie from actor Walsh, Heated Rivalry's David Hollander, who got "in trouble" for a piece of content on his Cameo account

There's some hopeful news for fans of Heated Rivalry circulating these days, even if it comes from an unfortunate slip-up by one of its major actors. That actor would be Dylan Walsh, AKA David Hollander, who recently took to celebrity app Cameo for what could've been an innocuous post, if what he said on the platform didn't give away too much about the hotly-anticipated season 2...
And maybe even season 3?
The story comes from Variety, who reported on Walsh's faux pas in an article published August 13, the details of which go something like this: Walsh took to celeb app Cameo for a personalized greeting to a fan (presumably someone who loves the hit show based on the Game Changer book series by Rachel Reid) and divulged the following:
"Getting ready to go back up to Canada and shoot some more episodes… so, I think we’re doing 12 this time."
A perfectly normal statement, right? After all, we already know that Heated Rivalry season 2 is on the way, so why would Walsh's comment reveal anything the producers haven't already announced? The issue, it turns out, is in that number of episodes. Heated Rivalry season 1 was a total of 6 episodes, and since we know that season 2's budget is not wildly bigger, we can assume that the same will be true for the next chapter. So in that case, why would Walsh point to the crew filming "12 this time?"
A very simple answer - and one that we must remind you has not been confirmed - is that seasons 2 and 3 are being shot back-to-back.
Whatever the truth may be, Walsh's situation has brought down enough heat (heh) that the actor publicly admits to having gotten "in trouble," and is stepping away from Cameo altogether. Hopefully we'll get a more official reason for that sometime soon.
