During the Hazbin Hotel press room at New York Comic Con 2025, Alastor voice actor Amir Talai was asked what he thought Alastor the Radio Demon would make of podcasting. For those who don't know: Prior to dying and becoming a demon in Hell, Alastor was a radio host (and a serial killer) in 1920s and 1930s New Orleans.
If he knew of podcasts, would Alastor want to make one, Talai was asked. The answer was a speedy affirmative: “I think there’s a world in which he would do like the audio version of Twitch streaming,” he said. “He would have his radio broadcast in the evening, but then, as soon as the broadcast was over, he would pull up the audio mic and his entire life would be livestreamed over audio, because he believes that people need to be aware of him.”
The second season of Hazbin Hotel premieres on Prime Video October 29. Check out the trailer below:
