Critical Role's The Legend of Vox Machina is one of the most popular animated series Amazon has ever seen on its Prime Video platform. WIth three seasons out and a fourth on its way, you might be struggling for what else to watch - its a good thing there's a spinoff series in development, and it now has a release date.

Mighty Nein will debut on November 19 on Prime Video. Amazon hasn't said how many episodes it'll be, and if they're releasing it all in one chunk or episodically as it has with the Legend of Vox Machina show.

This is all based on the second campaign from the live D&D play group Critical Role, which ran in their series from January 2018 to June 2021. The Mighty Nein are seven adventurers living in a land called Wildemount, who are enlisted save it from being drawn into a war between two groups: the Dwendalian Empire and the Kryn Dynasty. This sounds serious (which it is), but part of it is also the camaraderie and comedy from its players, led by dungeon master Matthew Mercer.

Ahead of Mighty Nein's debut on Prime Video, the Critical Role team will be our guests during New York Comic Con 2025, which takes place October 9 through 12.
