Jurassic World: Chaos Theory actor Kiersten Kelly is excited to be voicing a character with a limb difference just like her

As an actress with a limb difference, Kiersten Kelly is glad Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is helping people like her feel seen

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory brought some big changes for Brooklynn. The series, which is a sequel to the Netflix show Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, began with Brooklynn losing her left hand in a dinosaur attack. Behind the scenes, Brooklynn’s Camp Cretaceous voice actress Jenna Ortega departed the series.

The role was recast with Kiersten Kelly, who like Brooklynn, has a limb difference. For Kelly, the chance to bring representation to the limb difference community was invaluable.

“This was my first project that I’ve ever been on, so I grew a lot just by being a part of it,” Kiersten Kelly tells Popverse in a New York Comic Con 2025 interview. “Every recording session I learned so much. And it’s just been amazing.”

“I think too, for me as a person with a limb difference, it was really exciting to be the voice of a character with a limb difference. And I think it kind of made the little me happy just to be able to give that to my younger self, and the younger viewers that may have limb differences watching. So that was also really incredible.”
