The Smallville cast would love to do a reunion movie or television special

The cast of Smallville say they’re up for continuing the story with a movie or television special

In 2011 Smallville aired its final episode, ending its ten-season run. However, just because a show ends doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of the characters. It’s not unheard of for cancelled shows to return as a movie or television reunion special. Just look at Firefly, Entourage, and Downton Abbey. Could Smallville be next? The cast certainly seems up for it.

“Like our own multiverse? Sure, why not?” Tom Welling says during a Smallville panel at MCM London Comic Con 2022.

“It would be fun,” Erica Durance adds. Laura Vandervoort echoed Durance and Welling’s comments. The crowd was asked how they felt about it, and the auditorium erupted with applause and cheers.

"Do you have like a GoFundMe page? Are you doing this,” Welling joked.

As of this writing, no plans are in the works, but stranger things have happened. James Gunn, if you’re reading this, you have the opportunity to greenlight something amazing.
