We did it, Amazing Digital Circus fans! We made Gooseworx regret creating The Amazing Digital Circus
Most enjoyers of The Amazing Digital Circus will tell you creator Gooseworx is entitled to her opinion about episode 9 leaking online. Thankfully, Real Fans are here to set the record straight

The Amazing Digital Circus fanbase has done some incredible things. We've viewed the pilot episode a whopping 435 million times as of this writing. We've broken ticket sale records for a Fathom screening event. And now, a select and glorious few of us have done what some fandoms can only dream of doing: causing animator Gooseworx actual regret for making the show.
The story comes on the heels of The Amazing Digital Circus's hotly-anticipated finale, episode 9, leaking online ahead of its June theatrical release. Asked about the leaks on BlueSky, Gooseworx responded in a since-deleted post, "ehhhh, who cares?," as though she was allowed to accept events that she had no part of or control over. Obviously, this was Not A Correct Response, and thus tantamount to a war crime.
Fortunately, though, we the true fans set about correcting Gooseworx, responding with the same authoritative and constructive methods as our forbears in the Star Wars or Minecraft fanbases. And not 24 hours after the discourse began on BlueSky (the non-toxic alternative to Twitter, remember), Gooseworx admitted defeat.
"I kind of just wanted to make a cartoon," the GLITCH animator said in a post that should make us all feel great, "It's ended up being way more trouble than it's worth. I really just can't keep my heart in this thing anymore. It's gotten too much bigger than me, & I probably shouldn't be the figurehead of it."
There you have it, fellow heroes - another cultural villain cut down for the unforgivable crime of creating something we enjoy then not doing exactly what we want with it. It wouldn't have been possible had we not dedicated one full day of our short, short lives to being angry online, and we should be proud of our sacrifice.
After all, it's not like indie animation is a bastion of creativity in a field threatened every day by corporate monoliths and AI slop, right? Because if that were the case, it would almost be like we were acting as the bad guys here, wouldn't it? And for all the incredible things we can do as this fanbase, that would be impossible.
The Amazing Digital Circus episode 9 debuts on YouTube June 19. Make sure you're there to approve it.
