Prepare to resume your education at Nevermore Academy. The release date for Wednesday season 2 part 1 and part 2 is coming up before you can snap your fingers twice. The darkly comedic reimagining of the Addams family from executive producer Tim Burton thrilled and chilled us with its first season. And soon, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is heading back to Netflix for a suspenseful sophomore season.

The Wednesday season 2 part 1 release date is August 6 on Netflix. And the Wednesday season 2 part 2 release date is September 3 on Netflix. Each part will consist of four episodes, for a total of eight episodes in the season. The series originally debuted in November 2023 to critical and viewer acclaim. And while the summer and fall are filled with highly-anticipated shows, you'll want to make room in your class schedule for Wednesday's second season. Here's the season's teaser trailer: 

In Wednesday season 2, the titular Addams returns to the halls of Nevermore Academy. Soon, she finds herself thrust into a brand-new supernatural mystery. The series also features Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Hunter Doohan and Billie Piper. And the sophomore season also features a plethora of scintillating guest stars, including Thandiwe Newton, Haley Joel Osment, Joonas Suotamo, Fred Armisen and Christopher Lloyd. And in part 2, guest stars include Lady Gaga and Frances O’Conner. 

Season 2 part 1 of Wednesday will be released on Netflix on August 6. And season 2 part 2 of Wednesday will be released on Netflix on September 3.
